Sistan and Baluchestan is located in the southeast of the country, bordering Pakistan and Afghanistan and its capital is Zahedan. The province is the second largest province in Iran (after Kerman province). The population comprises the Baluch who form a majority in the province, followed by the relatively large minority, the Sistani Persians. Smaller communities of Kurds (in the eastern highlands and near Iranshahr), the expatriate Brahui (on the borders between Iran and Pakistan), and other resident and itinerant ethnic groups such as the Gypsies are also found in the province.
This castle is planned to be constructed in 1264 by order of Nasseroldeen Shah and it’s construction continues for 7 years. This castle was used as base of Balouchestan governors in Fahraj city which is old name of Iranshahr city. Area of this castle is 7500 m2 and has a barrier with height of 7m.
This barrier has 9 watchman tower. History of this castle is full of ups and downs where its inner space is ruined. By repairing it’s barrier and beautiful portal of this castle, the place will be used as a place of providing handicrafts.
The mountain provides green summer time regions with pleasant climate in this hot climate province. Spelunkers generally ascend from west flank of mountain where there has been built an equipped shelter.
Because of blow of sever and cold winds in winters. Climbing this mountain in winters is very difficult.
This large city has antiquity of 5200 years. Area of city is 151 hectares. This complex is a mark of citizenship establishment in east part of Iran, where was constructed 3200 years B.C. and people has been living in this city during four different period of civilization from 3200 to 1800 B.C. burnt city of Zabol is consisted of five components such as residential district, cemetery, monuments, industrial and civic center structures.
Name of this city is by considering several great burnings in this city and change in mouth of Hirmand River and repeative droughts attributed to that.
Length of this city is 1500m and it’s remaining of a city of Achaemenid. This city in contrast to other relics and monuments of Achaemenid era is built by mud and sun dried brick. One of the unique and interesting features of this city is that the development of this city is based on planning and designing before implementation and it has on planning and designing before implementation and it has comprehensive map.
In discovered epigraphs of Achaemenid's different relics such as Naghshe Rostam, Takhte Jamshid and Biston, this city is named Zarak or Zaran kai. Lack of forth and tower in structure of this city suggests security and safety domination in this city. There is at trace and relic of life found in this city and it’s probable that residents of this city all together have left city because of a certain reason and city has left abandoned.
This mountain is a phenomenon where is placed such as an island at middle circle of Hamoon lake. However, Hamoon currently has not any water and this mountain is observed at center of a plain! A complex where is belonged to several historical periods of Ashkanian up to Islamic era is seen within this dried. This mountain is sacred for three religions of Zoroaster, Christianity and Moslems.
Complex is consisted of a large and expanded structure and it’s fire temple, sun dried brick built castles, some tombs for pilgrims, stone graves, Chehl Dokhtar Citadel, Kak(Kohak) castle of Kahzad belonging to partian and Sassanian, Kafaran castle, windless chamber, Sar Sang citadel, Khajeh Ghaltan tomb (this tomb is attributed to brother of Daniel the messenger) and tomb of Gandom Berian old miller. Among relics of this mountain, cornices and paintings of Partian palace have great historical value.
These were large natural trenches where excess water of Hirmand River conducted to those trenches by channels. This lake maintains potable water of Sistan province and also needed water for agricultural activities at period of doughtiness maintained by this lake. The large complex of cultural and research activities of Chah nimmeh with area of 5000 hectare, provide desired opportunities for research and development to scholars.
Beside the lake, a jungle park and zoo is developed where makes this place one of the recreational points of points of province having very high tourism potential.
This museum where is constructed in 1390 S.H. in 5 storey and area of one thousand square meters is one of the greatest. Historical, cultural and art regional museums in southeast of Iran. Architecture of this structure is extracted and modeled by considering ancient Sepp castle of Souran city of Balouchestan province. There are ancient relics of province, clothing of province's people, local and native food recipes of this province and fauna species of province are exhibited in this museum.
By visiting this museum, it’s possible to find information about features of archaology, anthropology, ecology of ancient sites and also discovered relics of burnt city, Khajrh mountain, Gholaman opening Spidezh Bazman, Kerman Shahdad, Jiroft and south Khorassan.
Indus crocodile of Iran is called by natives Gandoo, it’s belonged to Crocodiles species where have been living in period of Frozen earth at 225 to 265 million years ago. They have had a little change for last 65 million years. This protected zone is the only habitat of this specie. This animal that is very smart and clever also timid can not be seen easily.
It will swim down the water if human presents near it’s privacy where generally hunts in nights. His food is fish, birds and mammals are found in circumference of river. This crocodile is put in cage at Bahookalat protected zone where everybody can visit this animal. Interested ones, who intend to watch this crocodile at it’s original habitat and in free life can visit banks of Sarbaz River and it’s surrounding ponds. These ponds start from a distant of 1 km north of Sarbaz city and extended to sides of Pishin dam. Gandoos are more populated around dam
This cemetery is a historical relic of after Islam era. This place has area of 500 m2 where is located at slope of mountain. These graves have a unique construction pattern. After burying dead bodies four sides of grave rise by putting stones on each other then cover this cubic structure with a wood cover and again place stones on lid wood then make a structure in multi levels with gypsum and brick (similar to Ziggurat or cyrus's tomb) on that foundation.
Finally cover all sides and body of this structure with gypsum and color some part of work red. Native villagers assign this cemetery to Zoroasterian!
This village is consisted of three parts as, Tammin bala, Tammin payeen and central Tammin where are at 3 km apart from each other. This is a beautiful region with orchards. Main trees of these orchards are fig, jujube, apple, grape and mulberry. Attractive scenes in this village are rock architecture where are carved in four sections at core of mountain. These kind of architectural structures usually are belonged to late Sassanian era and early Islamic period.
Ancient cemetery of Tammin also is another attractiveness of this village where is registered in national relics of Iran. Graves of this cemetery which are numerous are located at core of mountains this cemetery has simple square graves at dimensions of about 50 x 50 x 1.70 Cm where are covered with stone. One of the notable points in this cemetery is that in more than 60 percent of graves the principal of being in kiblah's direction is not observed while this is an emphasize on this graves belong to figures of Zorosterians.
These mountains are another beautiful appearance of erosions of sever seasonal rains occurred on clay and marl structures, mentioned mountains are actually some parallel channels of water way. Mountains are parallel to Persian Gulf coastal line and run along this line up to Gwatr bay.
These natural phenomena are considered as the most beautiful Geomorphologic impacts.
Herra (Mangrove) is a tree of seawater with sizes of 3 to 6m when it’s high tide;. Mangrove goes down most of it’s height and because of filtration feature of it’s bark, absorbs sea water and releases it’s salt. This location is registered as the twentieth international swamp of country at Ramssar convention list. This place is a suitable biosphere for birds such as pandion, pelican and Flamingo. This attractiveness is registered in list of natural national relics.
Ounce leopard, panther, gizelle, zebra, deer and capreolus deer, brown bear and wild cat. Birds of this zone are snow cock, Iranian robin, bearded vulture and golden eagle.
Oman sea develops beautiful scenes in southeast of Iran and these become a tourism point near Chabahr port. Different kinds of water sports such as fishing, driving are available in this place and it’s residential facilities also reasonable. Portugese's castle is another attractive places of this region. Tiss (Thiess) village is 10 km from Chabahr with very beautiful beaches of Oman sea where is worth seeing.
This port city is one of the free trade zone of Iran with temperate hot climate has spring climate through year where it called four springs or Chabahar. This region is the hottest place in winter and the coolest south port of Iran in summer. Another attractiveness of this region is a tree named focus religica or temples fig (Lore lool) which a natural rubber tree species, these trees are abundant in coastal line. Corona of the tree is large and wide with very big leaves. It fruit is in orange color, edible at size of hazelnut. This tree generally has a long life more than hundred years and always locates beside temples.
In this region, two small hills and one large one are placed where the heights of those are 50m. Other than main opening where is located at top of hill, derivated openings are also located around hill where some of them are dynamic and some are inactive. This relic demonstrates tectonically activities of region.
First explorations and visit of this cave which is registered is xxxx, when Iran speleologist delegation under supervision of changeez Sheikhli stayed three days inside cave and provided a complete report of Darband payeen cave. This cave is one of the most beautiful caves of Iran where high rise columns of stalagmites can be seen inside that. One of it’s stalagmites by having 14m height is unique. Regarding largeness of gallery and thicknesses of lime columns, this cave is notable although because of mistakes by visitor in lighting fire inside the cave. Most of it’s stalagmites are damaged and blackened. There is a large gallery inside the cave where has a very beautiful natural pond having undrinkable water with concentrated minerals. However because of recent years of drought this pond is going to dry. At entrance of cave some relics of earthenware's are discovered which belong to first millennium. Darband bala cave has not any necessary visit facilities and splunk expertise and related equipments are needed, length of this cave is 40m and have not any beautiful elements of caves such as stalagmites or stalactites or stalactites. Stone step way goes only to Darband payeen cave. Development of stairway, beautiful lightening of inside the cave and development of welfare facilities around the cave make interested visitors to come to this place. Proximity of this cave to super cities of Tehran and Semnan and also it’s location on pilgrimage to sacred Meshed make position of this place very suitable. Furthermore it’s vicinity to summer time city of shahmirzad with pleasant climate put other attractiveness beside this cave. Taking its passage way through stairs is only difficult for aged ones and other age groups. Have not any notable difficulty inside the cave or on this caves passage ways. Considering it’s proximity to Mehdishahr and Shahmirzad, a very high tourism potential assigned to develop this place and a residential facility is constructed in it’s vicinity in order to provide services to visitors.

This relic demonstrates tectonically activities of region. Extracted mud of this hill is in dark grey color and is of clay and moral species accompanied with gas where exit of mud is with a burst and blowing bubbles sound. Mud flow which is drived by gravity from top of the hill down to foot makes a very beautiful natural scene.
