and this time they choose the Kish Island. It is situated in the Persian Gulf, near the southern coast of Iran and it is ideal for water sports such as snorkelling, scuba diving and wind surfing and also the inland nature will surprise you. 

And why not complete this nice experience with a trip through the south of Iran? So we made a nice program to give you a full Persian holiday. In this trip the following is included:

●  An island excursion on Kish island.
●  A visit to the city of Esfahan. This city has a long history of trade
    and it was an important connection in the silk route. You will also
    see the most beautiful mosaic mosques in the world.
●  A trip to de desert where you will sleep under the stars
●  A day trip to the ancient city of Persepolis, where you can see
    the ruins of the palace of king Darius from the Persian empire.
●  A visit to Shiraz, with the famous pink mosque and the
    tombe of the poet Hafez.

Tehran

Our journey begins in the young and lively city capital of Iran: Tehran. Here we will visit some musea, among which are the carpet museum and the national museum. We will read more

see the famous palaces of Golestan, multiple parks and the iconic nature bridge. In the evening we will go to Darband. Along a small river you will walk up into the mountains and the lights at the cafes and restaurants will make you as if you are in a fairy tale. To sum it up: the first days in Iran will be a mix of city, culture, nature and good food. 

Isfahan

Because of Sjah Abbas I Isfahan is one of the most important historical cities in Iran. Although the city was already very old, he decided to make it the capital. And a capital read more

needs the best palace, multiple beautiful mosques, among which the Sjeik Luftfallah mosque and a giant square, which is called Meidan Emam. It is 560 meters long and 160 meters broad and at that time the biggest square in the world. In the 16th century many countries trades their goods here. The Persians also called this square ‘half of the world’. The square and its building surrounding it are UNESCO world heritage. We will surely visit the bazar. Another interesting building is the Armenian Vank cathedral. It is a remnant from the time that Sjah Abbas took Armenian families from Julfa to Isfahan for its silk trade.

Kish

world to spot beautiful fishes and corals and of course scuba diving is even more spectacular. Also jet-skiing, sailing, fishing, sailing and other water sports are the reason tourists come to this island. Other attractions are an old Greek ship that once stranded on the shores and the underground town of Cariz, which is more than 2500 years old .There are women-only beaches for the female tourists. Because the government of Kish island invests a lot in tourism, there are many shopping malls and luxury hotels ánd tourists do not need a visa to visit the island if they stay less than 14 days.

mosque and Karim Khan Castle are from that era. We will visit the Nasir al-Mulk mosque, which is known as the pink mosque because of its beautiful light. From Shiraz we will go to Persepolis, where King Darius the Great once built his palace. Eventually the complex was destroyed by Alexander the Great, but some parts remained. It now forms a unique piece of history of the 5th century B.C.
